Museums-Bergwerk

Created in 800 years in search of silver, lead and zinc in the Schauinsland, the mine is the largest in the Black Forest and the Vosges, with a length of about 100 km, distributed over 22 floors. It shows all mining periods typical for metal ore mining and is especially therefore valuable in terms of cultural history. The three different guided tours offer history that can be experienced up close with a focus on technology in varying degrees of intensity.
