With public transport
The Freiburger Verkehrs AG will bring you comfortably to the lower station.
Take tram no. 2 from Freiburg to the final stop in Günterstal and then bus no. 21 directly to the lower station. It only takes 20 minutes from Bertoldsbrunnen – then you can take the cable car to the top. For more details, please refer to the timetable information.
Parking
Paid parking spaces for cars are available at the valley station.
The first 30 minutes are free, after which a daily flat rate of €2.00 applies for up to 10 hours. Overnight parking incurs a flat rate of €10.00.

Parking fees can be paid on site at the ticket machines directly at the car park or via the EasyPark app.
There are a total of four disabled parking spaces available at the valley station. To use these free of charge, please present your parking permit at the cable car ticket office.
A total of four parking spaces with electric charging stations are also available for electric vehicles.
Coach and motorhome parking is available in parking lot P3 (see coach information). Cable car passengers arriving by motorhome may use parking lot P3 for a one-night stay.

Please note that the maximum clearance height of the Günterstal Gate (“Günterstaler Tor”) is 3.60 m.

E-charging stations
Float up with the Schauinslandbahn, enjoy an eventful time in nature and conveniently recharge your batteries with environmentally friendly energy! At the valley station there are four parking spaces with e-charging stations for e-vehicles, where you can charge your vehicle with environmentally friendly generated electricity.
