... yes, they still exist, the colourful, diverse flower and herb meadows. We walk in the Schauinsland nature reserve on narrow paths, over pastures and alpine meadows, through unique flower and herb meadows. We see daisies, bluebells, arnica, thyme, bloodroot, dove's-foot, St. John's wort, to name but a few. We walk slightly uphill along the herbal adventure trail, up to the Schauinsland summit. All along the way we have a wonderful view of the small mountain village of Hofsgrund, the St. Wilhelm valley with the Feldberg, and even the Swiss Alps. There is always time for small breaks to pause and look!
