On 05.05.2024, people with a degree of disability of 50% or more and an accompanying person marked "B" on their ID card can enjoy free uphill and downhill travel on the Schauinslandbahn.
The cable car system of the Schauinslandbahn and the Café & Restaurant Die Bergstation are built barrier-free. Access ramps and disabled WCs are available at both the valley and mountain stations.
