Mine Museum

Mine Museum

With some 100 km of length, distributed over 22 levels, the mine, developed in the Schauinsland mountain over 800 years in the search for silver, lead, and zinc, is the largest one in the Black Forest and the Vosges. It shows all mining periods typical of metal ore mining and is a valuable monument for cultural history. Experience the history of mining technology in three different tours with different levels of challenge.
