Heritage Day

Heritage Day

The Schauinsland cable car, classified as a historical monument, is a “means of transport of cultural and historical importance”, which has been operating since 1930 near Freiburg. It is considered a “global technical innovation”. It was only thanks to the efforts of the operators, the conservation of historic monuments and public authorities that the Schauinsland cable car could be kept in its original shape for almost 90 years. This is why we regularly participate in the Heritage Day and allow you to enter the captivating universe of the Schauinsland cable car.
